Magnesium Sulfate (Anhydrous, Monohydrate)
Magnesium Sulfate is used as a granulation aid for compound fertilizers. When solubilized, it is used in fertigation (the use of fertilizers in irrigation systems). Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is a specialty fertilizer with high concentrations of magnesium (MgO; 16.3%) and sulfur (SO3; 32.5%). It is formulated as 100% water-soluble, free-flowing crystals without any impurities. As a result of relatively low hygroscopicity, there is little to no risk of caking.
Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is an effective source of magnesium and sulfur and is mainly recommended for foliar application, hydroponics, and fertigation. The high concentration of nutrients in this fertilizer meets the needs of even the most demanding plants. It is recommended for preventive and corrective fertilization of all crops.
Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate ensures the quick and effective fertilization of plants with both of the secondary nutrients it contains. Magnesium is a central component of the chlorophyll molecule; as such, it is essential for optimal photosynthesis. It also enhances the catalytic activity of many enzymes by establishing a precise geometry between the enzyme and its substrate. Sulfur is a uniquely important part of three amino acids, making it essential for all known structural and functional proteins (enzymes). It is especially crucial for oil and protein crops, which explains why it is considered as the third major plant nutrient after nitrogen and phosphorus for oilseed, soybean, forage, and maize. An increasing amount of new evidence points to the high importance of sulfur in plant defense mechanisms against biotic and abiotic stresses.
Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is an effective product for the correction of magnesium and sulfur deficiencies and for treating the physiological diseases that they cause.
